As the violin sang its haunting melody, the room seemed to fade away, replaced by a realm of shifting shadows and whispered secrets. The Silent One's eyes fluttered open, and he gazed into the flickering flames, the room dissolving around him like mist before the dawn.A chill ran down his spine as he sensed the presence of others, their whispers carried on the wind like the rustling of leaves. Eavesdropping fingers had long since been laid upon the shoulder of the night, and the Silent One was summoned forth from his reverie.
