"Good morning, Dr. Patel," a low voice spoke from behind her.
Sophia turned to find Dr. Zen Marquez standing at her side, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "Morning, Zen," she replied, her voice husky from the cold. "Enjoying the view?"Zen nodded, his dark hair mussed from the wind. "I am. Although, I must admit, I find it hard to believe you're not frozen to the spot."Sophia chuckled, a small, wry sound. "I'd rather face the cold than the chaos of our hospital." She glanced back at the lake, her gaze drifting over the frozen water. "I've always loved winter," she mused.
