The guests, attired in their finest attire, sipped tea and nibbled on delicate finger sandwiches. Amidst the merriment, a young woman named Sophie caught the eye of a mysterious stranger. His piercing blue eyes seemed to hold a secret, a whisper that only she could hear.Sophie's thoughts were interrupted by the host, Monsieur LaFleur, as he announced the arrival of the infamous Madame de Pompadour.
