The Crimson Scroll
A tale of ancient artifacts, cryptic messages, and treacherous secrets
It was a warm spring morning when Emily Sawyer, a renowned rare book conservator, received an unexpected package at her Seattle-based restoration studio. Within a simple, unmarked box, she found a dusty, red glass stopper nestled among layers of yellowed paper and torn fabric. A small, intricately carved wooden box adorned with strange symbols was embedded in the stopper. As she carefully extracted the container, the scent of old parchment enveloped her.As Emily examined the box more closely, she noticed the stopper began to dissolve, releasing a faint scent of jasmine and sandalwood.
