It was a crisp winter evening in 1865 when the distinguished Chinese diplomat, Ambassador Wong, hosted a lavish banquet at his opulent mansion in San Francisco. The evening was meant to be a celebration of cultural exchange between the East and the West, with esteemed guests from both sides of the Pacific. As the ambassadors, dignitaries, and socialites mingled, the aroma of exotic spices and the soft glow of lanterns wafted through the air. Little did they know, however, that amidst the merriment, a sinister plot was unfolding.At the peak of the festivities, a commotion erupted outside.
