(53.4 x 73.1 cm), Drawings, John Sell Cotman (British, Norwich 1782–1842 London), Cotman described the Abbey of St. Ouen as “the best subject I ever touched upon.” He visited Rouen in 1817, 1818 and 1820, moving in the latter year, back to Norwich from Yarmouth to work on an etched series titled 'Architectural Antiquities of Normandy' (published 1822)
