Another man is passing by in a boat. Above the cartouche the title (motto) of the print and a quote from the Bible (Proverbs 20:9). Below the print a caption: 'Slaeght stiff, and fierce; It suyvert well.' and a description explaining the print. To wash dirty cloths well, they must be worked hard.
