Albestrook of bobbin lace with candelabrum motifs, Albestrook of natural-colored bobbin lace: old-fashioned Flemish lace. The symmetrical pattern consists of a double row of candelabra motifs, alternating in two variations. One motif consists of a tulip vase between leaves in the form of c- and s-volutes, with above it a vase with flowers in a diamond shape of four hollow scrolls made with leaves and flowers. The other motif consists of a vase with flowers between four leaves in the form of s-volutes, with above it a tulip vase also between leaves in the form of c- and s-volutes. The motifs are made in linen stitching with cutouts. The motifs are connected by a lattice ground and in several motifs a decorative ground has been applied. The underside is finished with a scalloped edge stemming from the pattern. The top of the strip is finished with a separate scrolled border with a woven border above it.
