The album contains several series of prints with the subject of 'nature' in the broadest sense of the word. The album contains two series on the four seasons, a series on the five senses, a series of gods and goddesses by printmaker Crispijn van de Passe (I), the series Bestiarium quadrupedum Vivae Icones on land animals, the series Avium Vivae Icones on birds, the series Piscium Vivae Icones on fish and finally the series of flowers. The album may have been compiled in Antwerp. Front three blank pages, back six blank pages. Presumably glue residue from photo corners on the endpapers.
