In an arena a fight between a lion (Netherlands ), bear (Sweden), elephant (Denmark), a tiger and three eagles (Poland, Prussia and the German Empire). The fight is led by Cromwell with his hounds. The European monarchs watch as an audience, in the middle the evangelical virgin and the evangelical preacher. Bottom right an inset with a battle between ships at a Kronborg castle. Under the plate there is a text printed in 3 columns in Dutch with an explanation of the letters A-M.
