Allegory on Sweden or the kingship of Frederick I of Sweden, Suecus (title on object), Presumably an allegory on Sweden and/or King Frederick I. Around his throne are various figures, including Hercules, a veiled figure with a book, a woman with a key and a woman with flaming hair and a flaming heart in her hand. Further from the throne are Minerva and a number of soldiers. At the end of the stairs three figures kneel presenting a book, an architectural drawing and a ship model. Behind them is Mercury. At the bottom right is a figure leaning on books with his elbow and foot. Next to him is a globe. At the top right is a window through which we see a landscape with cliffs and a fish descending towards a cloud. Surrounding the scene is a decorative frame with Latin inscriptions, possibly descriptions of Sweden. The coat of arms of Sweden at the top of the frame., print maker: anonymous, Zweden, (possibly), 1720 - 1751, paper, etching, height 360 mm × width 422 mm, print
