The porch of the temple is hung with portraits of historical heroes and patriots. In front of the throne Hope and Gratitude with four children (Commerce, Art, Agriculture and Fisheries) with a beehive. To the left and right of the temple stand two Batavians as guards. On either side are columns from which hang medallions with representations of important events from Dutch history.
