First token: obverse: Mercury with staff and liberty cap above the new city hall; in the foreground Amphion playing the lyre. Reverse: Amsterdam city maiden with imperial crown sitting in a garden between two lions each holding three coats of arms, in the background a view of Amsterdam on the IJ, above that three angels with pennants and trumpets illuminated by heavenly light, within a border of sixty coats of arms. Second token: the ship Argo, in the background a view of Amsterdam on the IJ within a border with inscription and crowned coat of arms.
