The figures on the pedestals consist of superimposed prints with specific physiological details: from muscles to circulatory system and skeleton. Behind the gatefold print with the devil's face (as Medusa) a heavily pregnant torso is visible. This also consists of several superimposed prints with anatomical details from skin and bladder, to the uterus with baby and the back wall of the abdominal cavity. The eye and ear at the top left and right, and a pharynx and heart in the center are also gatefold prints. Text in Latin on banderoles throughout the performance, with exceptions in Greek and Hebrew, mostly referring to biblical texts but some to Ovid's 'Metamorphoses'. Anatomical details are accompanied by letters referring to a missing explanatory legend.
