The pedestal is flanked by two kneeling Turkish men with trophies, victory signs consisting of captured weapons. On the pedestal is the personification of Ambition (Amor di Fama). It concerns a naked boy with a laurel wreath on his head from which the laurel berries still hang. In his right hand he holds a ship's crown, in his left hand an army crown. On a pedestal a mural crown, a besieging crown (of grass) and a civic crown (of oak leaves).
