Bowl with coat of arms and motto 'per Ardua ad Astra', The bowl has the shape of a six-step passport with an equally raised edge. This is decorated with engraved scrollwork on a granulated background, driven alongside facing godron frames, which are interrupted by six rosettes. On the bottom an engraved coat of arms surrounded by leaf ornament with two six-pointed stars in the upper half and a slanting cross in the lower half. Above the coat of arms a helmet with two wings, below the coat of arms two banderoles with the motto 'per Ardua ad Astra'., anonymous, Batavia (possibly), c. 1725 - c. 1750, brass (alloy), tombac (alloy), engraving, h 1 cm × d 30.5 cm
