The Netherlands paid 8.5 million guilders and accepted other humiliating terms. In a tent, Emperor Joseph distributes a Dutch cheese among Frederick of Prussia, Catherine the Great, Louis XVI and representatives of Sweden, Spain, and England. The Dutchman complains about his fate. On the left a night watchman with a lantern who warns the other countries that the same fate may befall them.
