Chain of the Guild of Saint Hubert, Chain of the St. Hubertus Guild in The Hague ( ?), Archer's chain of a St. Hubertus guild (probably The Hague), gilded and partly enamelled. Ten links have the shape of a deer antler between which a double cross (for Saint Hubert). These links alternate with ten others, which consist of the connected letters SH, the initials of the Saint. On one of them is engraved in gothic letters 'PIRNEYS JACOB ZOE' (son), possibly the maker of the necklace. Twenty five coats of arms at the front, each within a deer antler, one of these shields is enameled, on the reverse side is engraved 'I Dorp 1581'. On the reverse of another shield: 'the Glarges 1580'. The two foremost are from the families of Swieten and Blois (the latter with caption 'J. Comes-Invidia'), they are larger and provided with a helmet, helmet sign and covers. The others cannot be identified (partly due to the inaccurate representation). Attached: a large antler of silver around the enamelled arm of Arend van Dorp with helmet, helmet sign and covers, underneath, on two chains, a deer in a fence, similar in shape to the Hollandse Tuin, with outside two hunting dogs that besieged it, hoofed animals: deer, armorial bearing, heraldry, The Hague, anonymous, Northern Netherlands, c. 1542, silver (metal), engraving, h 47.5 cm × w 35.5 cm × t 1.2 cm l 106.0 cm h 3.6 cm h 4.7 cm
