The arms are straight and are supported in front and at the back by curved boards. At right: above is a chair, seen from the side, the back being at right. The arms are supported at the front by supports with a bird's head. They form the upper frame of a rectangle, with an inscribedl ozenge. Below: an armchair in the same position.
