He was first damascened in iron, but having a higher spirit, he was addicted to engraving, where the art gave him the greatest softness and subtlety of the chisel: which he acquired by Soij, even by his great diligence, testifies to the pieces he made for Martin de Vos, and several others. in 1588 he went to live in Frankfurt, and from there to Munich in Bavaria, where the Duke luj made a present of a golden oak with a medal, and in the year 1595 he went to live in Venice where he died from the hot fiebre lan 1600, Io. Meyssens exc.
