(47.6 x 59.7 cm), Paintings, Pierre Charles Trémolières (French, Cholet 1703–1739 Paris), Between 1736 and 1738 Trémolières painted large canvases of Comedy and Tragedy. Both belong now to the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Cholet. The former, for which this is probably a study, was exhibited at the Salon of 1738
