A monster with seven heads, probably a symbol of the Arminian party, tries to see through the bundle of arrows of the Republic. However, the monster is restrained by Willem Lodewijk, stadtholder of Friesland, and Prince Maurits, who are both on the heads of the monster. This is surrounded by representatives of the seven provinces, seven counter-protestant pastors with inscribed swords and seven horn players. On the right the cow that symbolizes the prosperity of the Netherlands. At its head are the arms of three provinces from the Southern Netherlands. On her back is the personification of Faith. The cow is milked in the bucket of Caution and fed with branches of peace by an angel. Here stands the English king James I, called 'Getrouwen Raedt'. Bottom right two angels with a coat of arms and a cartouche with a group of standing figures. All texts are mirrored.
