Cup on foot with lid, with the alliance arms of two German families, Faceted, conical foot with pontil mark. Conical chalice, rounded and lobed at the bottom. Lid with a wide overhanging rim and knob consisting of a disc and a faceted baluster. The chalice is decorated with a seven-lobed palmette with in three lobes a landscape with a house. The reverse is engraved with an alliance coat of arms surrounded by foliage and banding. One coat of arms has a sloping beam with three times six dots and a helmet symbol with three times six dots, the other is four-part: in quarters one and three a lance with a branch around it and in quarters two and four a climbing lion. As helmet sign a climbing lion with lance.
