Disposed in half of an ovoidal niche. The mensa has the shape of an angular sarcophagus which is supported by two legs with cherubim in front of their upper parts. The figure of the Saint with the Christ child stands upon a pedestal in an angular niche; flanked by two fluted and embedded columns. Two women sit upon the triangular pediment, the left one probably with a burning heart, the right one carrying a twig. The conch is coffered. Below is the scale: 'Scala di Palmi venti Romani.'
