Design for a salt cellar intended to be executed in partly gilded silver. The design has the same elements as 1938-88-648: below is a circular base with a part of a sphere in the center. The supports are four scroll legs, fluted in the lower parts of the front and fastened together by a ring with rosettes. Above are Medusa masks which are connected by festoons, upon the bowl.
