Drumstick from W. de Vries, in 1830/32 Corporal drum 2nd Bat. V. Department of Amsterdamsche Schutterij Tamboer-maître stick for tambour-maître, army or Kingdom of the Netherlands, ca. 1814-1830, Tambour stick or tambour-maitre stick made of wicker. Copper bottom, partly profiled steel point. Two holes at the top, through which copper wire has been made, bent on both sides into hooks. A white metal chain surrounds the stick. Top stick a hole on both sides, all finished with white metal. On top of the stick a profiled copper ring, above which a silver ball with profile rings and vegetative ornaments. Silver marks in edge.
