Elevation of a funeral chapel, Giuseppe Barberi, Italian, 1746–1809, Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash, graphite on off-white laid paper, The plan of the chapel is a square with a dome. The upper part of the front wall follows the scheme of a sarcophagus with a semi-circular window. Three doors are in the lower part, the central one being on top of a flight of stairs. A colonnade is in front of the mausoleum. Statues stand upon an upper parapet. Laterally are two steepls of two stories each. Urns upon pedestals are on top of them. The colonnade is reached by stairs, horizontally divided in three sections. The paper has been used for part of the plan, graphite.
