Father-Pietà, Father-Pietà, God the Father, seated on a celestial globe, has his dead son on his lap and holds him under his armpits. Around the heads of God the Father and Christ, a large white halo is carved out. The mantle of the former is held up by two angels. Beneath them runs a band of white clouds. In the lower zone is a globe containing the representation of a world landscape and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. To the left and right of this globe are small naked boys armed with swords and daggers. They depict, presumably, the depraved nature of man. God the Father and his son are freely inspired by Albrecht Dürer's woodcut; the little boys on the woodcut depicting the Triumph of Christ after Titian.
