In the central, gold-rimmed cartouche, Ruth looks surprised at Boas, the owner of the cornfield, who 'catches' her when harvesting. Another woman is on the second plan and a boy stacks corn sheaves on the cart to the right. This is flanked by small oval medallions in which a classic vase and larger windows filled with grapes, apples, pears, peaches and melon. The whole is equipped with flower garlands. On the back of the leaf in the middle a leaf and flower motif. The frame with fourteen legs has a central cartouche with an arrow quiver flanked by medallions with flowers. Arrowcocks, slings and fantasy motifs on the closed legs.
