The profiled foot rests on the straight-walled base, which is decorated with fasces and with a pearl edge. A vaulted, fluted section arises above it, gradually merging into the trunk and crowned by a series of profiles, the most important of which is adorned with fasces. On top of this rests the cube-shaped nodus which has a rosette on each side and which bears the upper part of the fluted trunk, crowned by a smooth band with four round heads. The two fluted sections of the trunk are decorated with laurel garlands hanging from two nail heads.
