More steps are leading toward the pedestal. They are flanked by obliquely disposed bases with female allegories sitting upon them. The lower part of the pedestal is angular, its front panel being decorated with a relief. Putti sit upon its corners and support a festoon. The upper part is circular, and divided into three bands, the smallest, the central projecting. The lower is decorated with festoons, the upper is fluted.
