Funerary figure of Duamutef, Third Intermediate Period–Late Period, 1100–332 BC, From Egypt, Glass, precious metal, H. 9.1 × W. 2.6 × D. 2.9 cm (3 9/16 × 1 × 1 1/8 in.), These elaborate composite glass figures of the Four Sons of Horus also show traces of gilding. The date of the figures is quite uncertain. They are likely to be pre-Ptolemaic given the strongly sectional use of color, but until a careful study is done of the style of such figures through time more cannot be said with any certainty
