On the convex gem on both sides the god of healing Aesculapius is depicted on the left and his daughter Salus on the right. Aesculap turns his head towards his interlocutor. Comparable pictures show him also supported on a staff. Behind him a snake can be seen. Salus is dressed in a long garment with a high belt, which clearly shows the attack (gr. kolpos). However, the drinking bowl (patera) is missing as well as the snake, which is fed by Salus.
