It once belonged to a statue, probably standing and with a back pillar on which information was recorded. The head is broken off in the upper part of the neck, but otherwise complete. The hair on the left side is chipped off up to half the height of the ear. The right eyebrow is damaged, the nose and the lower part of the beard attached to the chin are broken off. The man is wearing a wig on his head, which ends in a thick mass of hair on the sides and at the back of the head. The hair is structured by fine, horizontally parallel incised lines running across the forehead, which curve vertically to the sides and emphasize the contours of the head. The precisely worked ears are pushed forward a little by the wig. In addition to the wig, the man wears a braided beard. The fact that this is an attached beard is shown by two incised lines running to the sideburns, which connect him to the wig. The rectangular face is finely articulated, the skin soft and even. The closed mouth is strong, but not very broad; the corners of the mouth are slightly raised. In the right half of the face small beginnings of a nasolabial fold are recognizable. The cheekbones are clearly prominent. The narrow eyes are pointed at the ends. They are dominated by long, horizontally to the sides led, plastically indicated make-up strokes. The eyebrows, which are slightly curved to the sides, are also plastically worked. The transition from the root of the nose to the forehead shows the beginnings of a wrinkle.
