Not entirely shown at left. Below is a broad ovoidal base. Four kneeling mermen, who blow in shell horns, support a pedestal. It has the shape of an angular sarcophagus with two basins protruding at the ends. Their covers are decorated with calyces, their bowls with wreath medallions above branches. The front of the pedestal shows a trapezoidal relief of three women in the sea between moldings. Upon the four lower corners of the apparent cover stand putti carrying festoons with both hands. In the middle rises a fluted column with a band around the shaft. It shows medallions upon which there is a garland. Venus and Cupid, whom she evidently holds by one year, stand above.
