This is flanked by two seated dogs, which rest on a larger base decorated with a frieze representing an antique sacrifice. This central unit rests on an oblong base with round ends supported by calyces; upon each end are two seated women supporting flaming urns (an alternate design is suggested at each end). The left urn is decorated with a band with an octagonal medallion of a bust; cornucopias drape from the frame. The right urn in the shape of a flared sketch of the inkstand is at upper right.
