Inscribed marble base, Imperial, ca. 2nd century A.D., Roman, Cypriot, Marble, red, 3 7/8 x 5 5/16 x 4 3/4 in. (9.8 x 13.5 x 12.1 cm), Cesnola Inscriptions, The base may have held a small statue. The Greek inscription records a dedication by a man called Katagraphos on behalf of his son to the cult of Opaon Melanthios located at Amargetti, near Paphos.
