Lantern Slide - Woman with Two Children in Pavilion, Pacific Islands, circa 1930s, Lantern slide depicting a woman with two children in an open pavilion (note the many posts) with a large table with white cloth. The scene appears to show preparations for a feast or celebration - possibly a welcome feast for tourists, reinforced by the presence of a tablecloth - a very Western touch. Note that homes of the period in Fiji had walls and were not open to the elements
