(80 cm), Sculpture, Jean Jacques Caffiéri (French, Paris 1725–1792 Paris), The subject was given the Order of the Saint-Espirit in 1764 and made marshal of France and minister of war shortly before his death. His bust by Caffieri was shown posthumously at the Salon of 1777.
