Shown is a woman's head. The mouth is slightly opened, the hair runs in thin parallel strands from the middle parting to the back. They almost completely cover the ears. Women's heads were popular motifs in the late classical and early Hellenistic art of Lower Italy and also in Etruria. The bottle was possibly used to store valuable perfume oils.
