Marches Macerata San Severino Marche Chiesa delle Clarisse, this is my Italy, the italian country of visual history, Exterior views of the 15th-century church with its 17th century baroque facade. Interior views of the main altar, four side chapels, two transept chapels, 19th century dome frescoes and a conch fresco of Saul's Conversion on the way to Damascus. The altar 17th century, of marble intarsia is held up by four putti. The Rococo altarpiece bears the inscription Altare Gregorianum Perpetuum. Views also of a gilt organ 17th century, pulpit, and marble holy water font 1598. Photo 1983
