Dark brown., Horizontal rectangle. Obverse: the head is turned toward the left. Inscription: 'BONAPARTE R[eipublicae] I[talianae] PRAESES.'* With pencil the length of the square with sides tangent to the medal is indicated at right as pa ('a' superscripted) 3 3/4. Above in the center the caption: 'destra.' On the other side is the reverse, caption written by Giani with pencil - as the other - 'Ebe da l'imortalità a Origa** d'ercole.' Hebe sitting embraced probably by Ares upon a couch, holds a pitcher and the bowl, from which the kneeling Hercules is drinking immortality. In the background is the biga, with a genius holding the horse.
