The lid, the underside of the head, the shaft and the foot are richly engraved with leaf motifs and decorated with white and black enamel. On the upper side of the lid, an lion climbing to the left is shown in enamel (coat of arms of Holland). The head is provided with a continuous frieze in colored enamel on which the events during the Journey to Chatham, from 20-23 June 1667 are shown. The show starts with the attack on the fortress of Sheerness ('Shirnasse'). Signed, marked, inscription.
