Middle Rod of Candle Crown, The object consists of an iron rod and an iron cotter pin and the following cast parts of yellow copper: The hanging ring, the figure of the Virgin Mary with the crown riveted to her head and her left hand with the Christ child riveted to it, the stem, on which a spherical plate is bronzed at the top to cover it, and an iron eye with two lugs is riveted at the bottom (through which the rod is to be inserted), the lion's head with the draw ring, the collar, two times eight arms with their accompanying grease traps and candle holders. The more or less eight-sided round hanging ring changes into an eight-sided hollow pipe at the bottom. The figure of Mary placed on the crescent moon is surrounded by a halo. Her robe and mantle are decorated with punched stars. The hair extends down the back to the waist. The crown is composed of five fleurons. The hollow and convex profiled stem has a flattened sphere between the two stanchions decorated with a rib. The two supporting rings each have eight notches, which are either unmarked or marked with one to seven points. Above the lower stand ring there is one of the three protrusions on which the collar should be placed. In the lower rounded end of the stem, which narrows, two holes have been drilled. These correspond to the holes in the slightly oval start of the lion's head. The lion's head covers the bottom of the trunk. In the lion's maw hangs the ring, the ends of which are not riveted together. Through the trunk, the figure of Mary and the hanging ring is inserted the round wrought iron rod, which has a round flat end at the bottom and is provided with the slit at the top, through which the cotter pin is inserted. The round collar widening upwards is profiled and also decorated with fine grooved rings.
