(4862 g), Firearms-Guns-Miquelet, The miquelet is an early and sturdy form of flintlock popular throughout the Ottoman Empire from the seventeenth into the early twentieth century. Several elaborately decorated guns very similar to this example are still preserved in Istanbul, possibly made for the Ottoman Imperial guard
