On top of the monument statues of six governors from William I to William IV. The monument depicts historical events. In the center of the gate is the grave monument of Frederik (died in 1799). Surrounding this are portraits of Willem V and his wife Wilhelmina, son Willem I Frederik with his wife Wilhelmina, his daughter Louise with her husband Karel.
