About the ghene welcke Dr. Isacus Dorislaer was murdered on May 12, 1649 in The Hague (title on object), Furious Wraeck van Isack Dorislaer Op den elevende May, des Iaers. 1649 within Schraven-haghen, Published (title on object), The print and verse of the murder of Isaäc Dorislaer by a group of masked men in the De Zwaan inn on the Place in The Hague, May 12, 1649, combined on a sheet with the announcement of the reward of a thousand guilders offered for identifying the murderers of Isaäc Doreslaer. Doreslaer had been sent as an envoy by Cromwell from England to the Republic. On either side of the print is a contemporary handwriting stating that our table companion, Mr van Valkenstein, was also injured in the attack and died of his injuries on May 30.
