Nautilus cup, Nautilus cup with gilt silver mounts, Nautilus cup with gilt silver mounts, standing on a base with two godron rims and a procession of tritons on the curve. Above, on a small platform surrounded by loose volutes, a dolphin with a satyr on its back, supporting the shell. The shell is framed in three clasps; at the front a caryatid and on either side a hermtriton with swirled, sinuous tail. Near the rosette-shaped nut near the mouth edge two smaller tritons. Along the mouth edge in points drooping, openwork bandwork. On the upper side of the shell a bordered, oval cap with correspondingly hanging strapwork.
