Negative - Woman in Red Cross Uniform, Nareen, Victoria, circa 1914-1918, Photograph of a woman wearing the uniform of a Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) nurse's apron and veil, with a red cross on an armband, apparently taken at Nareen, Victoria. Although the photograph is dated to 1905, the Australian branch of the Red Cross was only established in 1914, so the photograph is unlikely to date from 1905, and is more likely to have been taken during World War I.
