Neptune Fountain in Nuremberg, Michael Rössler, 1713 - 1747, The Neptune Fountain in Nuremberg. Atop the fountain is Neptune with trident on a pedestal with the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire. In front of it sits a nymph with an oar. Together with a nymph at the back of the fountain, she personifies the rivers Pegnitz and Rednitz in Nuremberg. To the left and right, putti blow on shells. All around are two mermen on hippocampi and putti on other sea creatures. The fountain has been in the upper garden of Peterhof Palace Complex since 1782. To the right above Tab.
